The strength and attractive appearance of the shelf make it suitable for use for a variety of purposes from holding personal effects in toilet compartments to completing sink areas to offering storage space in a corridor or maintenance workroom. Crafted from type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel, the shelf is 5 inches in width by 24 inches in length. Two, type-304, 16-gauge stainless steel mounting brackets are welded to the back of the shelf and positioned 3 inches from each end and 18 inches apart from one another. The height of the unit from the bottom of these brackets to the storage surface is 3 inches. To cut down on the risk of injury, the shelf has hemmed edges, and the design features a 3/4-inch return on the edges to make the shelf rigid and strong.
